Somewhat recently introduced to wedding blogs, I’ve found that I absolutely love weddings.  Or the idea of them… since I’ve never attended one as a young adult.  Finally, my chance has come!  Our youthful family friends have decided to seal the deal.  Thank goodness!  Being oh-so inspired by their upcoming wedding, I have explored the wedding blog world even further!  Finding this ah-mazing wedding blog… Wedding Chicks has made me just THAT much more enthusiastic for their big day.  Having a summer wedding, this couple is shining with excitement as the date creeps closer and closer.  Wedding Chicks shares the excitement every couple has before their big day AND during their big day.  With numerous photographs of the decor and happy couples, this blog shares everything wedding.  Like every wedding blog, this blog has tons of DIY ideas and inspiration for potentially YOUR wedding day.  Honestly, when visiting wedding blogs I usually see very similar layouts and content, but the thing is… is that each blog has different ideas and photographs.  Regardless of their almost identical pink backgrounds, they all have a variety of different DIY projects and photographs.  Enjoy this blogs projects, photographs, and endless inspiration!

Patterns from Gold

Lital Gold

I’ve always found a certain fascination with intricate patterns and collages.  Lital Gold is a website sharing the portfolio, blog, and information of a textile designer and illustrator from Israel.  Currently in Philadelphia, Lital Gold is creating numerous awesome pieces which are truly breathtaking.  Incorporating extremely detailed patterns, light splashes of color, and insanely talented human sketches, Lital Gold’s art is unforgettable.  To top it off, all of her work is hand made, using ink, pen, and water colors.  Thankfully, this website comes with a blog attached.  The blog is very cool, sharing both her personal art and inspiration she may find.  Her inspiration mainly comes from fashion, street art, and nature’s elements… which are all really sick categories to look at anyway.  I will attach some of my favorite pieces by Lital Gold.  Enjoy!  Venture through the site.  xo

Mama’s Day

my grilled flatbread margarita pizza

This Mother’s Day was a little different than my family’s usual.  Surprisingly enough, we did not go on a hike, run, speed walk, or bike ride.  Instead we casually stayed at home, playing two square in the front yard and creating last minute DIY gifts for mom.  Throughout this awesome day of laziness, we all came together as a family and had a great day of just enjoying and appreciating our lives.  And to top off the exceptional Sunday, we went to my mom and I’s favorite restaurant for dinner… The San Ysidro Ranch.  The San Ysidro Ranch, aside from the best place on earth, is a very popular hotel.  Filled with endless cottages named after quirky plants, this place is my happy place.  SO grateful my mom chose this place for her Mother’s Day dinner… I presented her with my rustic gift the instant we came home.  Accompanying the “Let’s Get Lost In Love” T-shirt I bought, I created these darling notebooks!  The project from the one and only, Eat Sleep Cuddle.  A personal blog with a couple DIY tag-alongs, this blog is so cool!! I followed her simple directions to create these half-wild & half-laidback notebooks.  I instantly thought of my mom when I saw these so I just made the dream come true!  It took me about an hour or so to complete the darling notebooks.  Try it out!  Enjoy!  xo

Alicè in Rome

Alicé

Hi to all!  I have recently acquired a massive obsession with artists’ blogs with their personal work and inspirations.  Due to this sudden urge, I feel almost, obliged to share with you this awesome artist. Alicé, a mysterious street artist separating her work into categories of illustrationschetchbook, and walls. Based now in Rome, Alicé continues to create amazing pieces on public display.  Working with both canvas from the public streets themselves and traditional paper, Alicé works to send her opinions and messages through her immense talent to create.  Frequently collaborating with other artists, Alicé continuously is thinking/creating new out-of-this-world pieces.  Visit her website to get the gist of what she is all about.  If you’re ever in Rome, now you may recognize her public artwork.  Appreciate the talent of the current era.

Polaroids Before I Die

Happy Friday to all!  I came upon the question “What Do You Want To Do Before You Die?” on an adorable website using the infamous Stumble Upon.  Sharing a collection of photographs with people’s hopes before dying, this website allows viewers to see the variety in life.  I thought this would be a really nice website to scroll through on a Friday.  Visit this site with the intention of celebrating your life and to ponder what you would like to do before you die.  I think it would be really cool to recreate photographs like these with friends and family for a sort of collage.  Take what you can from this website.  I’ve posted some of my favorite people (and their hopes before dying) below.  Enjoy!

Growing Girls

A couple weeks ago I began a potted garden (above).  Carefully selecting the plants from the nursery, I began to ponder the idea of someday having a huge garden and growing my own veggies and fruits.  I suddenly got very excited in the hope that someday I would have a magnificent garden.  Being so enthusiastic about plants, I began doing some research and finding DIY projects for which I would incorporate with my plants.  Within this research, I found You Grow Girl.  Including endless tips regarding gardening, You Grow Girl is blogged by Gayla Trail, author of You Grow Girl: The Groundbreaking Guide to Gardening Grow Great Grub: Organic Food from Small Spaces, and Easy Growing: Organic Herbs and Edible Flowers from Small Spaces.  Gayla Trail is a photographer, writer, and graphic designer.  Incorporating all of her talents into this blog, she shares her gardens and their successes (and challenges).  I found this blog very helpful and encouraging for my entrance into the world of gardening.  With all of the rad photographs You Grow Girl has, there is honestly no reason not to love the site.  Check it out, get some tips on gardening, lets see some photographs of your gardens at home!  :)

p.s. I went a little wild with the photographs I found on this blog.  Enjoy the tons and tons I’ve posted below.  hehe.

Hyped For Hype Machine

The Hype Machine , one of the most popular and diverse music blogs available.  This blog is a blog which I have been dedicated to for several years now.  Supplying me with all of the best remixes and top underground music artists.  Including mostly covers, remixes, dubstep remixes, and the occasional original song… The Hype Machine allows a space where music bloggers can collaboratively post music.  Hype Machine, organized by the “latest” and “most popular” easily allows every viewer to listen.  The variety in music on this blog is sometimes rough to scroll through, but I feel it becomes very worthwhile once you find that one remix that just blows you away.  Check out Hype Machine!  I’d love to hear your thoughts on this collaborative music blog.  xo

Expressions of Fabian Ciraolo

Fabian Ciraolo

Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about art.  And about how I want to be able to make something which actually states an opinion of mine.  You know, something meaningful.  While researching inspiration for my potential creations, I stumbled upon an artist which I now adore.  Fabian Ciraolo.  I first discovered his art on The Flood when I was aimlessly scrolling through the pages.  But I just recently developed a massive obsession of  his work.  Dramatic, bold, yet so open minded.  The ultimate description of Fabian Ciraolo’s art is bad ass.  Fabian Ciraolo has quite a few very popular pieces, but he also has tons of less recognized creations which are just as eye worthy.  The link below directly leads you to Fabian Ciraolo’s blog of creations.  Strictly posting only his artwork, this blog is a great online portfolio of his work.  All of Fabian’s work has a similar style, but the ideas and opinions behind them all differ extremely.  Below are some of my favorite pieces by him.   Enjoy scrolling through the pages of magic by clicking…   HERE
